Plain rules for using this site. By using it, you agree to them.

Who we are #

freeswfldeals.com is a free local offers site for Southwest Florida. Local businesses post free offers. Shoppers clip them and use them at the business.

For shoppers #

– The site is free to use. We do not sell anything to shoppers.
– Each offer comes from the business, not from us.
– The business decides if it honors an offer. Read the offer and its fine print first.
– If a business does not honor an offer, tell us. We may remove the offer.

For businesses #

– You must own the business, or be allowed to act for it. We may check this, for example by your email, a phone call or a postcard.
– Your offers must be true and legal. You must honor them while they are active.
– We may hold, edit or remove an offer that breaks these rules.
– If someone else shows that they own the business, we may move the page to them.

Fees #

– Posting an offer is free. We take no cut of your sales.
– Photos and video on an offer are optional. They cost $5, one time, for one offer.
– A sponsor slot in the bar at the bottom of each page costs $99 per week. Up to 4 sponsors share the bar at once.
– All payments happen on Stripe. We never see or keep your card details.

Refunds #

– Photo and video fee: full refund if we reject the offer before it goes live. No refund after the offer goes live.
– Sponsor slot: you can cancel at any time. Your slot runs to the end of the week you paid for. We do not refund part of a week.
– Sponsor slot: full refund for any week we could not show your sponsor.
– To ask for a refund, email us.

Content rules #

Do not post offers that are:

– false or misleading,
– illegal,
– adult or hateful,
– for a business you do not own or act for.

No warranty and limits #

We give the site "as is". We try to keep it correct and online, but we do not promise that it always will be. We are not responsible for what a business does, or does not do, with an offer. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from using the site.

Florida law #

The laws of the State of Florida apply to these terms.

Changes to these terms #

We may change these terms. When we do, we post the new date at the top of this page.
